Mistakes happen — whether it’s a small typo, a broken link, or a minor formatting issue. Fortunately, updating your content is quick and easy. You can edit any existing Article Variants directly from your Knowted dashboard.
How to Edit an Article Variant
- From the Knowted dashboard, click Articles.
- Find the article you want to update and click the down arrow to reveal its variants.
- Locate the variant you’d like to change and click Edit Variant.
- Make your updates, then click Save to apply the changes.
Your edits will take effect immediately.
When to Edit vs. Create a New Variant
Editing is best for small, non-structural changes, such as:
- Fixing typos or grammar
- Updating links
- Correcting minor factual errors
- Adjusting formatting
If you’re making substantial content changes—such as rewriting sections, changing the message, or testing a different approach—we recommend creating a new variant instead.
Creating a new variant allows Knowted to automatically test performance and determine whether the new version outperforms your existing content, helping you optimise results over time.
